Bird strike is one of Thailand's significant safety risks which can be a hazard to aircraft operation. 

The presence of bird and wildlife in the vicinity of airports poses a safety risk for aircraft operation. Wildlife on runways can interfere with aircraft ground maneuvers and birds in the air can interfere with aircraft during landing or taking off.
