The national aviation safety plan is also known as the Thailand Aviation Safety Action Plan (TASAP) that is a State safety strategy for the continuous improvement of Thailand's aviation safety. The TASAP is the result of collaborative work with the Thai industry and complements the SSP to ensure the safe aviation operations. The TASAP sets out a high-level strategy and planning direction to drive the effective implementation and continuous improvement of Thailand's State Safety Programme (SSP) through safety actions to implement effective safety oversight systems and proactive safety management including actions to reduce the risk of fatal accidents and to achieve the global aspirational safety goal – zero fatalities by 2030.
